How we work

Remote support

There aren’t many clinicians who have expertise on MdDS. That meant patients had to travel, often by plane, to get help. With SOS Vertigo you can now book a meeting on our website and talk to our experts through a video call.

Fully digital

A fully digital approach is possible as we don’t need to physically examine patients. A detailed discussion on symptoms, occurrences and triggers and more information on past examinations are sufficient for a diagnosis. And with our Virtual Reality app we can treat patients remotely.

From diagnosis to treatment & follow-up

Our team helps patients on every step of their journey. We split this up in 3 phases: first Diagnosis, then Treatment & Follow-up. 

Phase 1: Diagnosis

Phase 2: Treatment

Treatment with the VR app starts with a number of sessions together with your dedicated caregiver. Over various sessions he/she will work very closely with you to help you use the app and answer your questions. Focus will be on:

Phase 3: Follow-up


Treatments take time. Some patients see a significant improvement after just a few days, while for others it may take longer. That is why our experts will follow up and advise over a longer period of time.

In a video call we follow-up on the process and assess the effects of the treatment over a longer period.
