SOS Vertigo is a new clinic, but our team has been studying MdDS (Mal de Débarquement Syndrome) and helping patients since 2016.

Diagnosed and treated patients every week in the European Institute for Othorinolaryngology in Antwerp.
Are currently conducting a clinical trial through Antwerp University, in particular the Lab for Equilibrium Investigations and Aerospace (LEIA), to prove the effectiveness of using the VR approach for re-adaptation of the vestibulo-ocular reflex
Members of the team have published several scientific publications on MdDS, and are co-author of the internationally accepted scientific classification paper that defines MdDS.

Not knowing who to talk to and not being able to travel are some of the biggest hurdles for MdDS patients on their journey for help. SOS Vertigo changes that. All MdDS patients, wherever they are, will have access to our experts for diagnosis, treatment and follow up.
